Guided and narrated walks through the most beautiful archaeological sites of western Sicily, discovering ancient stories and unique landscapes.
Western Sicily is characterized by rolling hills drawn by vineyards and olive groves. Alongside the coast the landscapes are unique and in many parts there are protected nature reserves, such as the Zingaro or Monte Cofano.
Continuing the journey to the extreme tip of the island, you can admire the white salt pans and the Egadi Islands (Favignana , Levanzo and Marettimo) with their turquoise sea.
Western Sicily has witnessed the encounter (and clash) of ancient civilizations sharing and contending for the same land space.
In this area of Sicily, the Greeks founded Selinunte, which still stands majestic with its ruins and temples facing the sea; the Elymians founded and inhabited Segesta, nestled on rolling hills and surrounded by forests; and the Phoenicians founded Mozia in the center of the Stagnone lagoon.
Archaeological walking tours of western Sicily will show you landscapes of rare beauty and places of great historical importance.
All these sites can be visited in half a day and can be combined with each other, depending on your preferences.
