My many interests toward art, literature and theater have led me in various directions.
I graduated in Art history from the University of Palermo and earned a Master’s degree in Publishing from La Sapienza in Rome, then I worked in a publishing house and I attended an acting school.
In 2014 the turning point happened: I got my qualification as a tour guide at the Region of Sicily and since then I began to discover a field that I became more and more passionate about, year after year.
From the union of my varied passions Sicily storytelling was born: my way of telling the History of Sicily through an engaging narrative, because what matters is not only what you tell about, but above all HOW you tell it.

Why Sicily Storytelling?
Since ancient times, human beings have always needed to tell stories.
Storytelling was a way to transmit the culture and beliefs of a population, just as theater was a collective ritual that strengthened community cohesion.
Early tales were transmitted orally by men specially trained in storytelling: the Homeric poems and the heroic deeds of men and gods were told in the squares by storytellers.
In Sicily, when there wasn’t TV, puppeteers traveled from town to town staging the exploits of the paladins in the squares while people watched enchanted by the puppet theater.
Storytelling is part of us, and storytelling has been a fundamental element in human life ever since.
From this consideration Sicily Storytelling was born, that is my desire to tell the History of this island and of the Mediterranean through an engaging narrative.
